Nâyi Osman Dede’ ye Ait Mîrâciye Adlı Eserin Makamsal Yapısının İncelenmesi
Özet
Osman Dede is known as "Kutb-ı nâyî" due to his superior talent in the “ney” instrument.
The title has been given to only a few ney players throughout history, and he was one of
those who deserved this title. Osman Dede, who invented the notation system named after
him, is also an important composer and musical theorist.
In addition to many classical works and Mevlevi rituals, he composed the composition
called Mîrâciye, known as the largest and most comprehensive work of Turkish Religious
Music forms. Nâyi Osman Dede composed his piece in seven parts, the lyrics of which he
wrote himself. It is seen that a superior musical work and a masterful understanding of art.
It has been accepted and expressed by most of our great musicians. This piece of art has
continued to be performed for almost three hundred of years.
In this study; The concept of "Miracle" is expressed and explained with the sources of the
Quran, Hadith and Sufism. In addition, the work was examined in terms of makam by
analyzing the melody cores, and the composition structure was expressed through makam
patterns.
