Özet
Innovations starting with Industry Revolution and going on after in the field of
technology, production and communication have affected the conversion in social
fields. Many facts like emerging and developing of record technologies, mass media
impact to social life, migration fact, economics activities, education have formed
culture-art fields, too. Even though technological and economical fileds defined by
culture industry raised with the negative ideas because of commoditizing and
commercializing the culture at the beginning, their importance have been understood
over time, the ways of benefitting the culture industries have been searched. Media tools
except for recorded music sector and collabrated with it like radio, cinema, television
and internet etc. have maintained their existences in new performance contexts as
converting, evoluating, announcing, archiving, carriying to the future the traditional
music.
Minstrelsy Tradition, the one of the main elements of traditional music born in oral
culture enviroment, kept alive and transferred, has been influenced by changing process
and tried to keep itse existence with new seeking. In tradition, changing in many points
like performer, performance enviroment and performance tradition, product, public,
education, recording, economic activities has been felt in a rapid way. With the
changing process, a new minstrel type performing its works in the programs with the
context of media in a short time and in urban centralized economical fields has been
emerged. From time to time, local artist, minstrel, people minstrel (halk âşığı), holly
minstrel (Hak âşığı) have started to perform the most favourite products and the works
came into prominence in cultural memory in this process and context. In current time, it
has been continued to benefitted from the memory of traditional music with the impact
of postmodern understanding and popular culture. Traditional music has provided the
continuity by undertaking the functionality in new contexts and new forms.
