The main aim of this study, which focuses on William Paley’s “Intelligent Design” thesis, is to criticize "Proving the Designer Based on Design" argument, which asserts that living things were created by a conscious designer.
This study, which tries to show that all living things came into being and could have come into being through completely unconscious, coincidental natural processes, will be a dense critique of the “Intelligent Design" claim, based on current modern evolutionary biology and molecular genetic evidences, in the context of philosophy of science.
The theory, which Darwin put forward on the basis of the Idea “Theory of Evolution By Natural Selection", based on a systematic basis that living things have undergone slow and gradual change and transformation over a long period of time, successfully explains the entire process of change in living things. In this study, which does not deviate from Darwin's position in the theory of evolution, the dilemmas of the “Intelligent Design" claim will be discussed, supported by current findings and scientific studies, and the weakness of the arguments for the existence of a conscious designer will be revealed.
