In this study, the subject of metaphysical space in painting was examined. Events, stories, mythologies, legends and memories are the subjects that have been studied in the art of painting from the beginning of human history to the present day. Throughout the historical process of art, efforts to express space have continued, perspective has been found in this process, and in this way, it has been emphasized that the reality of the event can be revived in the human mind. It has been observed that most of the time, the artist depicts events, philosophical views and memories, while depicting the space close to a literary language in terms of reality.
In this framework, metaphysical space in painting is considered as the main element that conveys individual or societall events as concepts and visual images to the audience within the framework of the preferred fiction. In the last section, the applications produced during the thesis process are given.
