Öğretmen Adaylarının Öğrenme Sürecinde Yaşadıkları Zorluklar ve Öğrenme Stratejilerini Kullanma Düzeyleri
Özet
The aim of this research is to determine the learning strategies that prospective teachers’ use, to determine whether their levels differ according to various variables, and to get their views on the importance of learning strategies and the learning problems they experience. In the research, the explanatory design of the mixed research method was used. The study group of the research consists of 385 voluntary prospective teachers who are studying in the 2nd and 3rd grades of Computer Education and Instructional Technology, Primary Education and Special Education departments of three public universities in Ankara in the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. In the research, the "Learning Strategies Scale" developed by Güven (2004) was used as a quantitative data collection tool, and the "Semi-Structured Individual Interview Form" developed by the researcher was used as a qualitative data collection tool. Scale was analyzed using the Jamovi 2.3.21 package program and One-Way ANOVA and t-test were used for comparisons. In the analysis of the interview form, the MAXQDA program was used. After the analysis, it was observed that the most used learning strategies by the prospective teachers were the strategies of comprehension monitoring, followed by rehearsal, affective and elaboration strategies, and the least used organizational strategies and suggestions were made regarding the obtained results.
