Almanya’daki Türk Çocuklarına Türkçe Öğretiminde Motivasyon Kaynaklarının Öğrenciler Üzerindeki Etkisinin İncelenmesi

This study aims to reveal the attitudes of Turkish children whose mother tongue is Turkish towards learning and teaching Turkish in Germany. In line with this purpose, he sought an answer to the question "What are the effects of motivational sources on the attitudes of Turkish students studying Turkish in Germany towards learning and teaching Turkish?" The study group of the research consists of 147 students in the 11-18 age group and between the 5th and 12th grades in the city of Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. In addition, 9 Turkish teachers were studied. In the study, in which quantitative and qualitative methods will be used together, the data on the effect of motivational resources on the learning and teaching of Turkish were obtained through the attitude questionnaire about the learning and teaching of Turkish and the teacher interviews conducted afterwards. The questionnaires were processed in the SPSS statistical program and subjected to explanatory factor analysis to determine the weighted elements. The obtained data will be presented in tables. Face-to-face interviews with our teachers were evaluated with descriptive analysis. The findings obtained from the study were discussed within the framework of the literature. It is thought that the study is important in terms of revealing how motivational resources affect students in Turkish learning and teaching. Determining the motivation sources of Turkish children abroad will positively affect the mother tongue teaching process, which affects their identity.
