İki Aşamalı Termofilik Anaerobik Sistemde Tavuk Gübresinden Biyogaz Üretimi: Zeolit Etkisinin Araştırılması
Abstract
In this study, biogas production from chicken manure originated from egg production facility and the effect of zeolite on biogas production is investigated in a two stage (mesophilic asedogenesis and thermophilic metanogenesis) anaerobic system. First, chicken manure with 1.8 % volatile solids (VS) (3 % total solids, TS by mass) is fed to both one stage and two stage reactor at hydrolic retention time of 16, 12 and 8 days respectively and their biogas productions are compared. Thus, after determining the most appropriate hidrolic retention time (HRT), biogas production rate and methane content of produced biogas are investigated in two groups of two stage reactors which are fed with chicken manure between 2.3 % VS (3.8 % TS) and 5.85 % VS (8.25 % TS) by mass. The effects of zeolite (10, 20, 30 g L) on biogas and methane production, ammonium nitrogen concentration, removal of organic acids, removal of total solids and volatile solids are examined that is placed in one of the reactors.
