Seramik Yüzeylerde Yazı ve Farsça Karakterler İle Artistik Arayışlar
Özet
Calligraphy and poetry have been one of the main interests of human beings throughout history. In the history of ceramics, writing was effectively utilized for documentation. This was particularly useful in the trades of Assyrian colonies in Anatolia. However, cuneiform and hieroglyphic on clay tablets were used for various purposes. Nowadays, there are artists who use cuneiform and hieroglyphic as a means of artistic expression.Since its emergence, writing in art has been used with different styles. In arts, however, it has been adopted for rather aesthetic purposes than semantic functions. The 'Hich' corpus of Parviz Tanavoli has been of valuable aid in the completion of this work.This study investigates calligraphy on ceramic surfaces and the reciprocal effects of poetry and ceramics. Authentic ceramic forms, tiles, surfaces prepared through different techniques and pure plastic with writing orientation is the focus of this study.
