The general purpose of this study is to prepare the syllabus proposal for teaching
Turkish as a foreign language at A1-A2 levels in terms of Common European
Framework of Reference for Languages. In accordance with this purpose, Yunus Emre
Institute Yedi İklim Turkish Teaching Series Teacher’s Book at A1-A2 levels and Gazi
University TÖMER Turkish for Foreigners at A1-A2-B1 levels Teacher’s Guidebook,
which are the most commonly used for teaching Turkish as a foreign language,
were analyzed and evaluated. As a result of the analysis, the achievements and themes
in the books were compared with Turkish Republic Ministry of National Education
General Directorate of Lifelong Learning Non-Formal Education Institutions Foreign
Languages at A1 Level German Course Program and Turkish Republic Ministry of
National Education General Directorate of Lifelong Learning Non-Formal Education
Institutions Foreign Languages at A2 Level German Course Program. As a result of the
studies, it has seen that both books include themes and achievements similar to the
Turkish Republic Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Lifelong Learning
Non-Formal Education Institutions Foreign Languages at A1 Level German Course
Program and Turkish Republic Ministry of National Education General Directorate of
Lifelong Learning Non-Formal Education Institutions Foreign Languages at A2 Level
German Course Program. However, it is observed that there are differences in the number
of the themes and the ranking of the subjects in the sources we use in our research
and from this aspect it is considered that there are differences in the distribution
of achievements.Regarding the purpose of the study, the achievements derived from
Turkish Republic Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Lifelong Learning
Non-Formal Education Institutions Foreign Languages at A1 Level German Course
Program and Turkish Republic Ministry of National Education General Directorate of
Lifelong Learning Non-Formal Education Institutions Foreign Languages at A2 Level
German Course Program are rearranged as five theme titles under four topicsin terms of
Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.At the end of there search, a syllabus proposal for teaching Turkish as a foreign
language is prepared based on Common European Framework of Reference for
Languages.
