Akut Diz Ağrısı Nedeniyle Hareket Inhibisyonu Gelişen Osteoartritli Hastalarda Farklı Aktif Hareket Uygulamalarının Anlık Etkilerinin Karşılaştırılması
Abstract
In this study, 50 patients were ages 50-70 ranging from (13 males and 37 females (mean age: 60.9± 6,21) patients, with a diagnosis knee osteoarthritis and had the acute knee pain associated with movement inhibition took place. Patients had mobilization with active movement and active movement therapy program consisting of 3 setsand10 repetitions. The aim of the study is to determine the effectiveness of treatment programs patients with the acute knee pain associated with movement inhibition, on pain during rest and activity, the normal range of motion (ROM), as measured by pressure pain algometer. The patients before receiving treatment, pain during rest and activity values, ROM, as measured by pressure using an algometer recorded then given equal resting intervals. After the treatment, values were measured and recorded again. The pain visual analog scale, ROM positions are supported by the literature with a goniometer, pain, pressure using an algometer pressure values recorded by the same pressure using an algometer. According to the results of the study, improvements were recorded for each treatment is applied (p <0.05). Mobilisation with active movement group showed further improvement in the treatment program was based on an active movement group?s program. According to the study, inhibition of movement associated with knee OA in patients, treatment program consisting of both mobilisation with active movement and active movement is an effective method and mobilisation with active movement can be concluded as an alternative treatment program.
