Adolesan/Yetişkin Duyu Profili Anketi Türkçe Uyarlamasının Geçerlilik Güvenilirlik Çalışması
Abstract
This research is planned for the purpose of adapting Adolescent/Adult Sensory Profile (AASP) questionaire to Turkish that evaluates sensorial skills, cultural adaptation and evaluating its validity and reliability. Study includes 450 healthy subjects who don't have any physical problems and also have above 24 point from Standardised Mini Mental Test and 40 schizophrenics totally 490 subjects are included. Process is performed by following the guidelines of Beaton's translation procedure. Firstly, questionnaire had translated to Turkish and then back-translated to English by an expert team whose native language is English, and lastly necessary cultural adaptations are discussed and determined by jury. After 2 weeks from the evaluations, re-tests are performed to totally 46 healthy subjects. During the implementation, there was no problem with adaptation of the questionnaire to the Turkish culture. In validity analysis language, content and structural validity is checked. All clauses showed significant corelations with their own quarters' clauses and quarter total raw scores (p<0,001). We found statistically significant differances between healthy and schizophrenic subjects, different genders and different age groups (p<0,05). Variance which explains four factors (low registration, sensory seeking, sensory avoidance, sensory sensitivity) includes %23 of the questionnaire. In reliability analysis, test retest and internal consistency are evaluated. Test retest which applied two week gap had in positive way witth statically significant correlation (p<0,001). İnternal consitency coefficient was found range between 0,66-0,70 questionaire had quite reliability. Consequently, Turkish version of AASP is an adequate and useful instrument for evaluating sensory processing skills of healthy subjects who are above 11 ages.
