Özet
In this research, it is aimed the causes of the urban pre- adolescents (12-14 years old) students' confrontation conflict with their parents. selecting a primary school from Ankara city s Çankaya district of the town; the sample group which is taken from attending students through random sample method have been applied questionnaire and interview technique. When the data were analyzed, It was found that pre-adolescents don t care their parents, is not true, they still need their support, but they are sensitive to construction of their self personality and they are willing to behave as autonomy. In addition, It has been observed that parents continue to implement child care and communication techniques as before, on behalf of their well being . It has been seen that pre-adolescent students do not want their parents to intervene for all of their behaviors, attitudes, dressing, food habits, choice of friends.
