1980'li Yıllarda Türkiye'de Sanat ve Siyaset İlişkisi
Abstract
1980s have witnessed that capitalism had gone through the process of globalization with neo-liberal economic policies. In Turkey, 12th September coup was the major sequence of this process which caused various crises all over the world and there has been a breaking point that led the reconstruction of social identity.Ozal government coordinated with the coup regimen, has delayed the development of a democratic constitution in the social sphere and artistic and cultural climate has been overshadowed by military half boot for a while. The physical and psychological pressure of prohibitions and penalties have limited the cultural production, but also opportunities for new expressions of creativity have been prompted by enhanced communication channels.
