Konservatuvar Ortaokul Devresi Flüt Öğrencilerinin Çalgı Öğrenme Sürecine Albert Bandura’nın Sosyal Öğrenme Kuramı Açısından Yaklaşımlar
Özet
The institution that provides the longest training aimed at the targeted profession in our country is the conservatory with a 12-year teaching process. Beginning in secondary school, students finish their musical education at a high level and start their professional life. For conservatory students, the school is not only an educational institution but also a lifestyle. Students, like their peers in other schools, do not only attend school hours, but also practice their instruments, rehearsing collective lessons such as chamber music and orchestra in the same buildings. Starting from the first instrument course, they are trained in the discipline, devotion required by their professions, and careful communication with their peers and other age groups that they will work together in collective lessons. In a way, we can say that they started their professional life on the first day of their education. They learn not only from their teachers but also from each other at school because the common language they speak, regardless of age, is music. They have the opportunity to observe the specific courses they have taken for vocational education in the lessons of other students and rehearsals. For younger students, having role models that they can observe outside of their teachers may enable them to follow the education process more consciously. One of the most obvious examples of this is instrument lessons. The instructors providing instrument training have students in different classes from secondary school to undergraduate and these students are given one-to-one instrument training. At the end of these one-to-one lessons, the students reinforce their knowledge through individual studies. Although the courses are framed by a curriculum appropriate for the class, they may vary according to the success of the students. Even though secondary school students have certain programs suitable for their classes, some works and technical methods can be applied in every classroom. Students' observation of other courses besides their own courses may affect their learning speed. Although there is no direct research on conservatory students, the work of psychotherapist and theorist Albert Bandura, who has proved that social learning theory and environment learning is possible, will shed light on this thesis. In this study, in the light of Albert Bandura's social learning theory, the study of the instrument learning process of middle school flute students will be examined and answers will be sought for developing one-to-one instrument lessons by taking expert opinions.
