This artwork report intends to research the benefits of synergy of representation and narrative for the actor/actress. In this context, concepts of representation and narrative are traced back to the Ancient Greece which is accepted to be the origin of western theatre. The approaches of two philosopher, Platon and Plotinus, whose significant findings, particularly of representation in art have been relatively disregarded compared to those of Aristotle, are tried to be analysed. As for the narrative in theatre, it is examined in the light of the concepts of distance and point of view in modern narratology as part of the stage, excursion spot and actor, role relationship. In minstrelsy, which is considered to be a part of traditional story telling, relation between narration and representation has been explored within the scope of such notions as presence - representation and identification-estrangement, and addressed as echoed in the artist's work. Procedural and artistic opportunities that came along with the union of narration and representation, have been tested as part of a stage adaptation. Pursuant to the practice study "Green Park in Vienna", an original play that is based on the anonymization of a real life event, has been written and transformation of a personal narrative to a collective narrative is analysed as witnessed by the writer of this dissertation.
