Art is one of the most important elements that reflects the spiritual
accumulation of the society in which it exists and carries it into the future,
whether it is known or not. Therefore, art must be passed down from generation
to generation so that it can survive.
In this art work report; the art of “Shadow Puppetry and Puppets”, which has a
pioneering place in the development processes of society, has been discussed
sociologically in its historical development. In this context, the depiction of the
daily lives of societies in plays and occasionally exaggerated reflections of
vocabulary (verbal art), and the two or three-dimensional staging of music and
imitation have been defined.
In the changing perception of world of art, the fact that Shadow Puppetry and
Puppets began to disappear by changing their shapes, have been discussed.
One of the most important cultural heritages in the world and especially in
Turkey, Shadow Puppetry and Art of Puppets have been interpreted by
analyzing the different research about them. Two and three dimensional
applications have been made with ceramic forms and defined.
Thus, art must be passed down from generation to generation so that it can
survive.
