The aim of this study is to demonstrate typological differences of Albanian and Turkish
and effect in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. These kinds of differences in
linguistic structures which affect learning a foreign language should be taken into
consideration in both teaching and learning a language.
The population of this research has been conducted with the participants of B1 level
educational programs in Albania. From this working environment the target group of 15
students was chosen randomly in order to collect the data through written assignments.
In this study, after giving general information about writing skills and writing skill in
foreign language teaching, is given an information about language typology and
comparison linguistics too.
In the next chapters the sentence elements and definitions are compared by comparing
the different aspects.
