For many years, many concepts have been the subject of art. The concept of emptiness
was first started to be studied in Eastern art and reflected to art in many cultures in different
ways. Every moment we live, everywhere there is space. Sometimes it remains unnoticed
but always exists. It is the emptiness within us that allows us to breathe; one of the
elements that makes the wheel of a bicycle rotate is the space in the wheels; it is again
the emptiness that enables us to move in the areas where we live. In short, everything that
we can realize exists is made sense through emptiness.
This artwork consists of three main titles. In the first section; The process of art and
creation, which motivates people to reflect their thoughts, dreams and experiences, to
transform them into a concrete object, has been researched and tried to be examined with
subtitles of form and content. In addition, research on the effect of space, which is our
main subject, on the shape and the effect of the form for the space has been investigated.
In the second part of the study, the concept of void is examined together with the concept
of void, and the relationship between void and space and objects is tried to be explained.
In addition, the works of artists who interpret the concept of emptiness in art from different
perspectives are included.
In the last part of the study, with the support of these researches, the gap is tried to be
reflected in the artistic context with original applications. The starting point of this art report
is to perceive the void and to evaluate and interpret it as an element of balance in formal
sense.
