This study aims to develop a material concerning both listening and comprehension skills for those learning Turkish as a foreign language at B1 level. Various techniques and methods have been used in the field of teaching foreign language from past to present. It is a fact that a material, which makes language teaching efficient, provides permanence and is easy to handle, is a requirement at all times. The field of Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language is ever-developing. It can be thought that materials which are authentic, permanent and up-to-date are needed because the lack of material exists in that field. Within this context, it was noticed that a study that aims to contribute the field of Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language was needed and that is why this authentic material has been prepared. Günday (2015) states that multimedia devices have an important impact on teaching foreign language. When it is considered that the rising generation has close relationship with technology, developing that kind of material may appeal to the relevant generation. Arıkan and Alemdari (2012) state that vocabulary is important for people to communicate efficiently in the target language. So, it can be said that vocabulary has great importance in terms of effective communication. Gairns and Redman (2002) state that using visuality on materials is efficient. In this study, Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Gazi Üniversitesi, Yeni Hitit Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Ders Kitabı, İstanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Ders Kitabı and Yedi İklim Türkçe were scanned. Words and expressions which are frequently used in the daily life were found. Also, their meanings and part of speech were given. An example sentence and a visual item were given for each word. Each word has an audio and sign language in order to appeal more senses. An experimental research has not been carried out to check its efficiency. So, this study has not been evaluated in terms of its efficiency on those learning Turkish as a foreign language. This study has been prepared as a support material in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language and for those who want to use.
