Türkiye’deki Türk Halkbilimi Lisans Programları ile Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’ndeki Folklor Lisans Programlarının İçerik Açısından Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

In this study, Turkey in folklore in the United States by providing education degree programs in the field of folklore is intended to compare the content of training programs licensors. In the study, document analysis method which is one of the qualitative research methods is used. Research, Hacettepe University Turkish Folklore, Gazi University Turkish Folklore, Cumhuriyet University Turkish Folklore and Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş-Veli The content of the undergraduate programs of Turkish Folklore and Harvard University Folklore & Mythology, Indiana University Folklore & Ethnomusicology, University of Oregon parts. Descriptive analysis was used as data analysis method. When analyzed the findings obtained from the research, Turkey has been observed that the Turkish Folklore in the field of education offering bachelor's degree programs with each other rather emerges is similar in the United States folklore in different classes from each other in providing education undergraduate teaching programs and courses contain their content. In Turkey, the Turkish Folklore compulsory course in the field of education has been observed that undergraduate teaching program will be kept quite spacious. Especially in the first four semesters of the undergraduate education, elective courses are almost negligible. In the USA, it is observed that there is no elective or compulsory course distinction in the undergraduate education programs. In the USA, it can be stated that the number of undergraduate programs offering education in the field of folklore has a high number of courses and that there is more choice and freedom because of similar course and course content between the curriculums.
