Turks and Iranians, two great members of the same culture and civilization circle, have been interacting in many ways throughout their long and deep rooted history, it is obvious that the two civilizations are too close,To date, scientific research on these two neighboring countries has not reached the level they deserve in historical, sociological, political and military fields and finally in the field of literature which constitutes our main subject.The comparative literature studies,which must be done and which constitute the backbone of our thesis, are vital to determine the common values and facts of the two communities,especially in the determination of shared history and to understand how they take part in the construction of their future. In view of the functions of literature to influence, change, and direct societies, it is no doubt that the above-mentioned need removal function can be done most effectively or through literature. Children's literature, which is one of the controversial areas of literature, provides sufficient materials for the cultural comparisons mentioned above. The main topic of our thesis is the examination of the stories of the some works of Aytül Akal, a Turkish author translated into Persian within the scope of the TEDA program, and of Iranian author Susan Taghdis,translated into Turkish within the scope of the Top program.The aim of the thesis is to compare the stories of the two authors; their take on children's literature from a thematic review on these two samples ,drawing a general framework of the subjects of comparative literature and children's literature.In the same period, their understanding of art and the lives of these two women writers, who have witnessed similar cultural and sociological changes in their societies, and who are the leading names in children's literature in their respective countries.
