Jazz music and art music, by the beginning of the 20th century, they mutually influenced each other in Europe and America. The influence of African-American cultural heritage has been great in the formation of jazz music.
American composer George Gershwin (1898-1937), a composer who has proven that jazz themes and rhythms can be used as serious elements in music, has composed countless songs for musicals, scored for motion pictures, stage productions and symphonic works.
