The aim of the present study evaluate to social compliance level of the victims of child sexual abuse under the protection and care in child support center, to respond to the needs of children to whom services provided in these centers,and to enlighten increase the quality of services provided and to raise the quality of service.
In the literature rewiew, even if the reasons are similar for the arrival of children who are taking services from these centers, in particular, the manner in which each child behaves, the effects of behavior, the degree to which the child itself is affected by this behavior, developmental characteristics, etc. shows diversity so the service provided for every child is created individual plan considering these variables. A direct study for social adjustment level of the victims of child sexual abuse was not found. In this regard in this research contextualise social adjustment level of the victims of child sexual abuse.
This study was carried out by qualitative research method,416 children were reached using the survey model as research model. In this study, social anxiety inventory was used for adolescents. By providing additional personal information forms on this scale demographic findings reached. Participant's level of social adjustment measured by means of Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents (SAS-A). In the findings obtained, different levels of social adjustment have emerged from the victims of child sexual abuse.
In the study for the victims of child sexual abuse, variables such as age, gender, education, income status were effective in children's social adjustement levels. 40,3 percent of the children participated in survey, stayed out of the formal education, continue to study whether in open plan schools or in open high school. One of the most important consequences of abuse is the victim stay out of formal education and tried to continue to study in open plan schools.With this, it was found positively strong relationship between the Fear of Negative Evaluation and Feeling Fear and Restlessness in General Social Situations of the children participated in the survey.
