In this study, it is aimed to define the technical specifications of Stratified Woodworking Material Sheets (OSB). Test samples from OSB2 and OSB3 sheets at the sizes of 11mm x 1220mm x 2440mm mostly used in the markets were prepared. Bending strength, flexibility module in the bending, inner bonding-vertical tensile strength, swelling to its thickness and boiling tests were performed in TSE. For OSB2; bending strength- major axis was recorded as 18,17N/mm2. The bending strength-minor axis was recorded as 12,08 N/mm2. The flexibility module in the bending- the major axis was recorded as 3875N/mm2. The flexibility module in the bending- the minor axis was recorded as 2355N/mm2. Inner bonding-vertical tensile strength was measured as 0,23N/mm2. The swelling to its thickness- dipping for 24 hours was measured as 24,11%. As a result of boiling test, the plates of each sample was distributed so that the tension test has not been performed. For OSB3; bending strength- major axis was recorded as 28,92N/mm2. The bending strength-minor axis was recorded as 13,37N/mm2. The flexibility module in the bending- the major axis was recorded as 4436N/mm2. The flexibility module in the bending- the minor axis was recorded as 1845N/mm2. Inner bonding-vertical tensile strength was measured as 0,28N/mm2. The swelling to its thickness- dipping for 24 hours was measured as 22,97%. As a result of boiling test, the plates of each sample was distributed so that the tension test has not been performed.
For the OSB that is generally used in the construction sector, it is observed that the manufacturer firms could not reach the standard static values used in the static calculations of the structures in the products of the manufacturer firms. Based on this result, it is known that only OSB2 is not sufficient and due to the lack of product quality, it is also understood that OSB3 is not sufficient as well.
