Cosro Ve Loro Tipi Takip Radarlarının Karıştırılması
Özet
In Electronic Warfare, jamming of tracking radars has high priority of importance for the safety of the target platforms. In tracking radars, lobe switching and conical scanning methods can be used for angular tracking by detecting amplitude modulation information in the reflected signals. The disadvantage of these methods are their high sensitivity to the jamming signals. To overcome this disadvantage, radars which do not scan at the time of transmission but only scan at the time of receiving technique has been developed. By this technique, the amplitude modulation and the scanning frequency information can not be determined by the target platform which is used for jamming the lobe switching and conical scanning radars. Radars that use this method are called as Lobe on Receive Only (LORO) or Conical Scan on Receive Only (COSRO) radars. By this technique, the efficiency of jamming is reduced that is used against angular tracking radar which is using amplitude modulation information. In this thesis, wide sweep amplitude modulation and harmonic amplitude modulation techniques are investigated which can be used for jamming LORO and COSRO radars. The results of theoretical and simulated efficiency analyzes for the harmonic amplitude modulation jamming are compared. In addition, different jog detection methods of wide sweep amplitude modulation jamming techniques are tried and the results are reported.
