Abstract

ABSTRACT SAMAT, Sümeyye. Aziz Nesin Theater, Master’s Thesis, Ankara, 2017. In this work entitled as Aziz Nesin Theater, Nesin’s theater is handled who lived between years 1915-1995. The introduction of the work is about the theater of the time period covering the lifetime of the all arounder writer. In the first section of the work Aziz Nesin’s life and theater are mentioned. Aziz Nesin’s dramas, black commedies and musicals have been analyzed in detail in the second, third and fourth sections of the work, respectively. Each play’s theme, persons, time frame, location, language and expression characteristics have been analyzed. At the end of the work Aziz Nesin’s theater conception and the factors that effect Aziz Nesin theater are aimed to be presented. In this work the annotation that Aziz Nesin’s theater have put in history is traced. In the appendix of the work that is concluded with a general assesment, tables, photographs and the main writing styles specific to the writer are provided.
