Bilfer Eskiköy Krom Konsantre Tesisi Atıklarının Flotasyon ile Zenginleştirilmesi
Özet
In this study, aiming that the evaluation of chromite ore plant wastes, lots of the chromite grains were recovered by flotation after the mineralogical characterization of the Eskikoy Chromium Concentrate Plant was determined. The chromite ore was confirmed to be very fine to extract by shaking table which is one of the gravity methods. Flotation tests were carried out by using the datas from sieve analysis and liberation degree of the sample of the tailing to obtain chromite concentrate with high grade and recovery. After determining the flotation conditions, the results from different type of collectors were compared and it was seen that the amine type of collectors at acidic pH were more successful to float chromite. The sulphuric acid which was used as a pH regulator in the experiment of amine type of collectors was consumed by the non-ore fine size (slime) and so it was determined that the acid should be continuously supplied to the system for pH regulation.
During flotation, it was observed that, due to the analysis after de-slimming, the fine size of chromite was removed with the slime which had adversely affected the flotation and had consumed the chemicals in experiments. For this reason, before feeding the plant tailings to the flotation, the feed was leached with sulphuric acid and the slime, which increases the amount of acid consumption, was removed and the amount of acid in leaching and the leach time was optimized.
The chromite ore was obtained with 53,37% Cr grade and 74,26% Cr recovery. The amount of the acid consumption of leaching was 294 kg/tons.
