In this thesis, it is aimed to examine direction finding algorithms in wideband signals. As content, MUSIC (Multiple Signal Classification), Root MUSIC (Root MUSIC) and ESPRIT (Estimation of Signal Parameters via Rotational Invariance Techniques) algorithms are examined in detail. The performances of these algorithms are analyzed using nonlinear frequency modulated (NLFM) signals. In the scope of the study, the results obtained from the changes in parameters such as bandwidth, SNR (signal to noise ratio) of the algorithms used in direction finding processes of wideband signals are comprehensively discussed. In the research results, it is revealed how the MUSIC, Root MUSIC and ESPRIT algorithms produce a performance output under certain conditions. This study provides important steps to increase the efficiency of the use of direction finding algorithms in wideband signals and to obtain better results in application areas.
