Hatıra Ahmedli Cafer'in Senfoni Adlı Eserinin Müzikal Analizi

Abstract

In this artwork report, the orchestration, form and structural analysis of the Symphony of Hatıra Ahmedli Cafer, one of the most important female composers of the twentieth century and Azerbaijani-Turkish music, is analyzed in three movements. It is aimed to examine the ways in which the original ideas in the work are reflected in the music. In the first part of the study, the purpose, scope and method of this study are explained. In the second part, the concept of symphony and its historical process are mentioned and the forms of symphony sections are explained. In the third part, the life of Hatıra Ahmedli Cafer is mentioned, a list of the works he wrote during his life is given, and it is aimed to provide information about the composer's orchestral work named Symphony. Subsequently, the work was analyzed in terms of form and structure, and it was explained how it was expressed from the composer's point of view in terms of composition techniques, orchestration techniques and the use of form. In line with the analysis, it is thought that the composer's work, which reflects his musical ideas and new approaches in the use of form, will bring a new breath to the literature of symphonic works.
