Özet
Design centers are innovation-focused research spaces that support the creation and implementation of innovative ideas created through the collaboration of various stakeholders. The purpose of this study; The aim of this study is to investigate the employment of interior architects in design centers belonging to businesses operating in the furniture industry, the fields of activity of interior architect employees, and the contributions of interior architects to the furniture industry, design centers and therefore to the company. In this context, a qualitative research method was planned as a research model suitable for the purpose, scope and research questions of the study. In-depth interview method was determined as the data collection tool. The participants, who form the basis of the research as the working group, were determined as officials of design centers operating in the furniture industry. During the data analysis process, the findings obtained using qualitative data analysis techniques were examined in depth and subjected to content analysis. This research on the employment of interior architects in design centers operating in the furniture industry provides results and suggestions regarding the trends, needs and roles, responsibilities and service areas of interior architects in the industry.
