The purpose of the present study was to reveal the rules of association between geometry and algebra by means of data mining. For this purpose, students' answers to the questions asked in the geometry and algebra learning sections of the mathematics sub-test of the Academic Skills Monitoring and Assessment (ABİDE) test taken in 2016 were used as data. The data of 3892 students who took the ABİDE test and answered the math sub-test in 2016 were used in the study. The study was conducted by analyzing the data set containing the answers of the students using the rules of association, which is one of the data mining methods. The WEKA software and its widely-used algorithm "Apriori" were used to carry out the analyses. The study revealed various rules of association among the answer patterns of the geometry learning questions, the answer patterns of the algebra learning questions and the answer patterns of the geometry and algebra learning questions.
