Sport injuries appear to be an important issue in today’s world of sport. Specifically, injuries have different extent in competitive underage levels which could effect on a child’s life, physical and mental health. Accordingly, it is important to understand how children experience the injury, whether they have social support in injury processes and what extent of the violation of children rights. Therefore, purposes of this research are to (a) examine the experiences of registered youth volleyball players’ injury processes, (b) reveal the role of social support network and (c) point out the connection between injury and violation of children’s rights. Qualitative research was preffered as main methodology of this research and phenomenological approach adopted for qualitative inquiry. Interpretive phenomenological anaylsis was used for analyzing the research findings. According to results, (a) social support was found to be meaningful and expected coping mechanism but it has no effect on injury without other factors, (b) youth volleyball players were subjected to serious violation of rights and part of these violations had a negative effect on injury process.
