Klasik maket kullanımı ile 3 boyutlu (sanal) görüntüleme programlarının anatomi eğitimine katkılarının karşılaştırılması
Özet
Bayko, S, Comparison of the Contrubution of Classical Anatomical Models and Three-Dimensional Imaging Programs to Anatomy Education, Hacettepe University Graduate School of Health Sciences Anatomy Doctoral Thesis, Ankara, 2023. Anatomy is the oldest branch of medicine that examines the normal shape, structure, position and functions of the structures that make up the human body and the relationships between them. Anatomy education has never lost its importance, even under difficult conditions, and has formed the basis of medical education. Today, with the help of developing technology, anatomy educaiton has become possible in many ways. This study aimed to compare the effects of teaching the heart and arteries with plastic anatomy models and 3D software on students and to evaluate the students’ thoughts. The universe of the study consists of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Term I students. Students who wanted to participate voluntarily were included in the study and the study was started with 68 students. The students included in the study were randomly divided into two groups (n1=31, n2=37). A pre-test including questions about the anatomy of the heart was administered to the students, whose consent was obtained,in order to determine whether they had any previous knowledge of anatomy. Afterwards, the course content was distributed to the students, the theoretical course on the anatomy of the heart was explained, and immediately after, the students were randomly divided into two groups as randomized. One of the groups studied plastic anatomy models and the Netter Anatomy Atlas, and the other studied the structures on the Essential Anatomy 5 program. The test given as a pre-test was applied again as a post-test. After the test was over, a questionnaire was distributed and the students' ideas were added to our data. As a result, traditional education is still the preferred method since the emergence of anatomy. Basic materials such as cadavers, models, atlas; It is supported by software and technology, but it is not going to be completely replaced. Studies, success rates and statistics show that traditional education and technology supported education materials together form a stronger homogeneous education model.
