Analyzing the results of high level competitions in swimming shows that medalist athletes performances are sorting by just split seconds. In kind of sport which success grading is related to fractional time differences all performance components are crucial. The purpose of this study was to research the differences of kinematic parameters of track and grab start techniques which commonly used styles by swimmers, and to determine which start technique is favorable by the help of gathered data. 17 age group swimmers (7 males and 10 females; age mean = 12,71 1,10 years, height mean = 154,12 7,56 cm, and weight mean = 46,24 8,69 kg) were used as test subjects.
