Abstract
The subject of this thesis is the design of innovative, high performance ABS (Antilock Braking System) control algorithms that are scheduled with road and driving conditions for passenger vehicles equipped with electromechanical brake systems. In addition, an innovative estimation algorithm for the brake force vs longitudinal slip curve will be developed within the scope of the project. The proposed ABS control algorithms will be updated with the output parameters of the latter algorithm and control algorithms with performance higher than those ones used within today's vehicles will be targeted.
