In sulphide ore deposits, mineralization is generally not homogeneous. Ore types with different mineralization, liberation and surface oxidation in the same ore body are likely to be seen. Selective flotation of complex sulphide ore is quite problematic due to mineralogical characteristics, liberation problems and differences in the flotation chemistry of the ore. Flotation chemistry, which is related to complex mineralogy, makes it difficult for many major ore deposits in the world to operate economically.Yenipazar Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn complex sulphide ore is a volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) and composed of three different zones (oxide, copper-rich and sulphide). In this study, the copper-rich sulphide ore zone of Yenipazar Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn complex sulphide ore was tested. Low selectivity and recovery problems occur in the flotation of this copper-rich ore since it includes secondary copper minerals causing high degrees of surface oxidation. Also, this ore contains high amount of clay
