In this study, kinetic performances of ionic liquid – DEA and ionic liquid – DBU dual systems in hexanol media has been studied.In this study [bmim][Tf2N] has been preferred as an ionic liquid, DEA and DBU has been preferred as amine. Absorption capacity and initial absorption rate of dual systems with different weight percent have been calculated from the works on gas-liquid contact reactor. Performance loses after cyclic absorption - desorption processes have been evaluated. Optimum desorption temperatures of dual system have been determined by thermal gravimetric analysis. Also by FT-IR analysis, It has been determined that the reaction between carbon dioxide and dual system is reversible.Finally, pseudo first order reaction rate of dual systems have been measured at stop flow reactor at different concentrations and temperatures. By using termolecular reaction mechanism equations, constants of the forward reaction has been calculated.
