Akgöl Formasyonu Şeyllerinin Hidrokarbon Kaynak Kaya Potansiyeli (Küre, İnebolu)
Abstract
During evaluation of the hydrocarbon potential of the Akgöl shales, stratigraphic column has been determined as four different parts (Küre A, Küre B, Küre C, Küre D) due to their lithological properties and shale-sandstone ratio. A total of 21 surface samples were analyzed to determine their organic geochemical characteristics. For this, the total organic carbon content (wt%), Rock-Eval Pyrolysis, elemental analysis and whole rock, X-Ray Diffraciton analyses were performed. TOC values are between 0,16 and 4,29, Rock-Eval Pyrolysis data show that the organic matter type is Type IV and thermally over mature. This is consistence with illite crystallinity values and sharpness ratio of chlorites implay the Anchizone . Measured vitrinite reflectance values range from 1,53 to 2,53 %Ro and the mean Ro is 1,92%. In addition the calculated Tmax based vitirinte reflectance values are over 2,2% VRequivalent indicating dry gas zone .
