Abstract

In Turkey, damages and losses caused by the landslides are the second destructivenatuıral hazard following the earthquakes. Western Black Sea region is one of theregions in Turkey, where these losses and damages frequently occur. In this study,landslide susceptibility assessments and mapping studies were carried out in a selectedregion at the north of Yenice (Karabük) at which the landslides mostly affected thesettlements in Turkey.
