When we look at the solfege education system in our country’s conservatories we see an education system with a curriculum mostly leans on the search of intonation and loudness. However, it is considered that the musicians who are desired to exist in today’s world should be brought up with better qualities especially in terms of rhythmic understanding, and although there has been a significant time period between then and now, should be acquainted with the examples of 20th century music, in which the bases of many radical revolutions in the history of music were laid. In the search of meeting these needs arose from this understanding, it is claimed that the most effective teaching method that can attract the attention and interest of the student and bring a result is the solfege education. In this context, solfege pieces were created by recomposing sections of selected samples from 20th century music by considering the aksak rhythm, which is also an indispensable element of Turkish music. In the first part of this study, which is divided into a two-stage process, aksak rhythm is discussed historically and conceptually; in the light of the findings obtained, the etymological results of these rhythms were sought. In addition to the etymological studies, the theoretical requirements and results of these rhythms were also evaluated at the thesis stage. The traces left by the aksak rhythms in Turkish music were also questioned and these "traces" and "understandings" of these rhythms, which constitute the rhythmic variety of Turkish music, were added to the study at the stages of creating the solfege method. On this ground, a method proposal is presented by transforming these aksak rhythms, which took place in the music of many composers outside of our country in the 20th century, through a specified filter, into solfege pieces.
