The aim of this research is to explain the relationship between child-mother relationships and peer relationships and social skills level of children. The participants of the study were chosen by snowball sampling method from parents of 4-6 years children attending public preschools in central districts of Ankara. In the study, correlational model which is one of the methods of quantitative research was used. Personal Information Form, Child Parent Relationship Scale, Peer Relationship Scale and Social Skills Scale was used as data collection tools. The data collected from the mothers and teachers of 4-6-year-old children who are attending preschools. As a result of the analysis, it was found that there was a significant and inverse relationship between the positive sub-dimension and total scores of the mother-child scale and the responsibility sub-dimension of the social skills scale. It was found that there was a significant and inverse relationship between the mother-child relationship scale conflict sub-dimension scores and the social skills scale's cooperation and self-control sub-dimensions. It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between the conflict sub-dimension scores of the mother-child relationship scale and the aggression sub-dimension scores of the child behavior scale. As a result of the study, suggestions were developed for researchers and teachers according to the relationship between the relationships that mothers have with their children and their children's peer relationships and social skill levels.
