This study aims to seek answers to the questions opened up by the crisis of representation,
accompanied by Rancière and Butler's views on political subjectivity. In this study, which
will consist of three parts, first of all, the views of Aristotle, Hobbes and Hegel on politics
and policy-making elements will be presented in order to present the historical
background of the crisis of representation. In the second part, Rancière's thoughts on
political subjectivity will be explained with the concepts of politics, police and democracy
within the framework of Rancière’s new understanding of politics. In the third chapter,
Butler's views on political subjectivity will be explained with the concepts of
performative, queer, relationality and radical democracy. The possibilities of reading
Rancière and Butler together with the answers given by the philosophers to these
problems will be explored by explaining which problems Rancière and Butler have
examined within the framework of the crisis of representation. Thus, it will be discussed
whether a new idea of political subjectivity will emerge from Rancière and Butler's search
for political subjectivity, which is common in the rejection of given identity
