Karamanid and many tribes affiliated to them settled in Anatolia while the Anatolian Seljuk State was still under its rule and continued their existence in these lands for about two and a half centuries. In addition to being an important center in many ways, Konya, as the capital of the Seljuks, has always kept its focus of attention. Especially after the destruction of the Mongols, the biggest aim of protecting the legacy of domination was to obtain Konya. Since the collapse of the Seljuk State, Karamanid made great efforts to protect the city and succeeded until it was destroyed by the Ottoman principality. Although its centers are in other Karaman lands, Konya has always preserved its importance and feature. During this period, the city, on the one hand, maintained its usual political, religious and commercial vitality, on the other hand, constantly witnessed destruction and renewal.
XIV-XV. Konya was under the rule of Karamanoğulları. centuries has not been the subject of research until today. With this study, while examining the works left by Karamanoğulları in Konya, we will try to draw a picture of the urban texture and development of Konya in the aforementioned centuries.
