Teaching Turkish to foreigners, Turkish Dialects that are around the world and the increase of foreigners on Turkish Land are some of the reasons why this is becoming a thriving field. Teaching Turkish as Foreign Language, the structure of the Language, it helps the listening, speaking and writing abilities and at the same time it helps to learn the Language Acquisition and the Cultural Values. Protecting Cultural Values, maintain them and making sure that future generations will also learn them was some of the reasons why UNESCO put 21 factors belonging to the Turkish Culture under protection in the Intangible Cultural Heritage List. In one of the Intangible Cultural Heritage List articles it is said that “the importance of intangible cultural heritage and its protection, especially to inform new generations are to be considered”. Based on this article; Teaching Turkish as a foreign Language should not only teach the basic language skills but at the same time culture transfer values like the value of the language and mission of cultural ambassador by learning culture should also be undertaked. Thus, language acquisition should not only learn the structure of the language but also will reach the target audience in the current language. People who want to learn Turkish should look at the Intangible Cultural Heritage List and of the articles where it is said that “Intangible cultural heritage should get people closer to each other and should promote Exchange and understanding between each other while considering its invaluable role. Based on this article, teaching languages should not only teach the four major skills but also interactions between the cultures and the current culture and by doing this it is made possible that the target audience absorbs the culture and its values.
Based on the what is told, prepared in this study one of the articles in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List is Requiring Emergency Protection for 21 factors that can be used for Teaching Turkish as a foreign Language. These factors A2, B1 and B2 will be defined according to their grade and a text will be prepared for the grades.
