The biggest disaster in the last period of Ottoman military history is doubtedly the heavy defeat in the Balkan Wars. The Balkan defeat changed the political, social and cultural balances not only in the Balkan but also in all the provinces of the Ottoman Empire. After the war, the Unionist officers, who seized all power with a coup, start a comprehensive restructuring process in the Ottoman army under the leadership Enver Pasha. Because it is the only power that will save the state from its impasse was a strong army. The Ottoman army, which was disintegrated against four small Balkan States in the Balkan Wars, with attempts of restructuring in a short period of one year, showed as unexpected performance in the World War One. In the following process, the founding military cadre, who founded the Modern Turkısh Republıc, came to important positions in the army with the made in 1913-1914.
