Çelik B. Examination of Parents' Sexual Communication Language with Their Children and Perceived Sexual Communication Language in Their Own Parents, Hacettepe University Graduate School Health Sciences, M.Sc., Ankara, 2022. This study is conducted to examine the relationship between the sexual communication language of parents with their same-sex children and the sexual communication language perceived by their same-sex parents. The research is conducted on mothers with girls between the ages of 0-15. The sample size of the study is 273 mothers who agreed to participate in the study between January 1 and November 15, 2021. The data in the research is generated from the "General Information Form" to obtain the demographic information of the mothers and the "Sexual Communication Scale for Parents" developed by Artan, Ceylan and Kurnaz Adıbatmaz (2020) to determine the sexual communication language of the parents, their parents and themselves, and the Sexual Communication Scale for Parents by the researcher. The “Perceived Sexual Communication Scale for Parents”, which is used with the permission of the authors who developed the Communication Scale, is applied. A quantitative method model is used in the research. the t-Test is used for two independent variables and the One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) is used for more than two independent variables in order to determine the statistical differences in the data. Then, Spearman's Rho correlation analysis is performed to determine the relationship between the two scales. The data of 257 mothers were coded for the study. As a result of the analysis, it is observed that the sexual communication language of the mothers with their children achieved statistically significantly higher scores than the sexual communication language perceived by their mothers. Accordingly, it shows that the current sexual communication language used by the mothers was higher than the communication language used by their mothers. There is a positive increase in the sexual communication language of the parents from generation to generation.
