Public Diplomacy Projections for Republic of Türkiye

Abstract

This study aims to review past, present and future Public Diplomacy policies and trends around the globe with specific cases in order to present possible Public Diplomacy projections for the Republic of Türkiye whose Public Diplomacy potential is far ahead of what is being accomplished now. The study mentions the roots and evolution of Public Diplomacy concept but mainly focus on world trends and current examples in this field. Public Diplomacy projections that can be adapted or originally crafted for the Republic of Türkiye are presented in this study. Throughout the examples of Public Diplomacy policies, critics about certain policies are also reflected. The advantages and disadvantages of Public Diplomacy are mentioned both in global scale and in particularly for Türkiye.
