Turkey is a country rather than immigration. Especially after the Syrian crisis, approximately 3.5 million Syrian had to migrate to our country. Syrian immigrants in our country have started to live together with the Turkish people with he aid of state, humanitarian organizations and non-governmental organizations. Community Centers were established by the Turkish Red Crescent in order to meet the services that Syrian migrants may need in our country and to integrate two different cultures. Thanks to Community Centers, many Syrian immigrants receive education, psychological support etc. can access services. This study is carried out to investigate the effects of the services provided by Community Centers on the beneficiaries. Data mining application was chosen as the method in study. Data mining was chosen in order to make predictions on the data set to be used in the study and to interpret the results easily. The reasons such as being easily accessible by researchers, having many open source software, and being able to learn software easily through the internet have also been effective in this choise. KNIME software was used in data mining application. The same reasons for choosing the data mining method were effective in the selection of this software.
Decision trees and support vector machines models were applied in the study. The results of the decision trees model belong to different K-fold cross validation cases and seperation criteria. According to these results, the accuracy percentages obtained in all trials of the decision tree model are over 99%. Similarly, results of different K-fold cross validation and functions were obtained in the support vector machine model. These articles have correct classification percentages of 92% and above in the experiments.
Within the scope of this study, the effect of educational services provided in Community Centers on the beneficiaries was investigated. Employment status of the beneficiaries, which courses they attended, from which Community Centers they received service, etc. The question of whether the variables are effective on the field in which they are employed as a result of the courses they have taken is investigated.
