Erasmus Programına Katılan Gençlerin Türkiye'deki ve Gittikleri Ülkelerdeki Gençlere ve Gençlik Hizmetlerine İlişkin Görüşleri

Abstract

The aim of this research is to disclose the opinions of young people about the youth and the youth services both in Turkey and the country they lived in as exchange students when participating in Erasmus Programme. The researcher conducted this research with young people who experienced living in and studying abroad when participating in the Erasmus Programme, a part of European Union Lifelong Learning Programme, via Hacettepe University. In this research, quantitative research method is adopted and the opinions of 178 young people (18-30 years old) are gathered with a questionnaire and then evaluated afterwards.The results have shown that in comparison with the youth policies and the youth services in the European Union member countries, the youth policies and the youth services in Turkey are insufficient to meet their requirements such as, personal, social and economic needs and to enable them to benefit from their rights.
