This basic descriptive study investigated the features of online activity pages that help people overcome reading and writing difficulties. Data were collected from “ogretmentavsiyesi.wordpress.com,” “www.mustafa-turan.com,” “tr.pinterest.com,” “www.girisimciogretmen.com,” and “www.ilkokul1.com” determined using homogeneous sampling. The sample consisted of 100 documents recruited using maximum diversity sampling. The documents were analyzed using a “Checklist for the Content of Activity Pages” and a "Checklist for the Purpose and Activity Appropriateness of Activity Pages." The checklists were based on a literature review conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Banu AKTÜRKOĞLU, a researcher and the consultant of this study. Two experts were consulted for face and content validity. The checklists were revised and finalized based on expert feedback. The method of Lawshe was used to determine the validity ratio index for each feature in the checklists. The results showed that the checklists had content validity. The researcher analyzed the documents 15 days after the first analysis to ensure reliability. The interrater reliability was 98% (Miles and Huberman, 1994), indicating high reliability. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and content analysis. The results were reported either using percentage distribution (descriptive statistics) or textually. The results showed that the online activity pages were inadequate in terms of content and purpose-activity appropriateness.
